Capitect allows advisors to publish billing records to each client's documents area without having to download and upload them manually.
Here are the steps to publish client records:
1. Create a firm-level invoice folder
From Documents, click 'Add+' → click 'New Folder' → provide name for the invoice folder (ie Invoices) → click 'Create' Note: This folder will be available in each client's documents.
2. Set the folder to publish records
From 'Client Billing > Settings' → click 'Select Folder' → select the 'Invoices' folder from step 1 → click 'Save'.
3. Publish Records
From 'Client Billing > Records' select billing records to publish → under 'Bulk Action', select 'Publish to client documents' → click 'Publish'.
4. Verify Published Records
From Clients, click on a specific client's 'Client View' to view Documents in the client's view → click the invoice folder → verify the list of billing records.
