There are several ways that you can distribute reports to clients. Reports can be published to client documents or downloaded as pdfs.
Publish Reports to Documents
You can utilize the document vault to publish and store reports for clients.
Here are the detailed steps to publish reports into client documents:
- Go to Reports -> Client Reports -> Bundled Reports
- Under 'Reports Folder', click 'Select Folder' to assign a firm level destination folder (ie 'Reports') for clients' report
Note: A firm level folder must first be set up. Reference document vault to set up a firm level folder. - Select all or specific reports to publish. Use 'Filter by Report Date' to help locate reports.
- Under 'Bulk Action', select 'Publish to client documents' to make reports available within the designated folder (step 2) for each client.
- Follow up with a client email notification, by selecting 'Send Email Notification' under 'Bulk Action'
Emails will be sent to all client members, including those that have not yet been invited. Any client emails including this one, advisors are also cc'd on the email. The composed email message can be saved as a template for later use.
Download Reports
Reports can also be downloaded in bulk as pdfs.
Here are detailed steps to download reports:
- Go to Reports -> Client Reports -> Bundled Reports
- Select all or specific reports to download. Use 'Filter by Report Date' to help locate reports.
- At the top of the page, click 'Download Reports'
- Reports will be downloaded as a zip file which includes all selected reports as pdfs
